excellent craftsmanship as well as creating original pieces. He can
do any traditional trim, book cases etc. extremely well. Other trim
companies sub their staircase work to him because he does such close
cuts and fitting. Where he really shines is in creative custom work.
Ed was able to make anything if I just showed him pictures or
described to him what I was thinking. The final work always exceeded
my expectations. Ed is meticulous and prides himself on creating
stellar pieces. He has a real eye for design and brings his own ideas
to the project to create works that are well built, functional, and
beautiful. He may take a little longer than others to complete his
work, but the wait is well worth it. He is a real Wood Artist."

"I needed to enlarge a portion of a built-in bookcase designed to hold
an old CRT 32" TV to accomodate a much larger 46" flat screen. This
was a very tricky project and three carpenters could not devise a plan
that I felt comfortable with. Ed had a general plan that made sense
and I decided to roll the dice. What he ultimately built was
absolutely perfect and looks as if it was built that way originally.
He put a lot of thought into the job and went above and beyond what I
hoped for. He came to the job in a timely manner and cleaned up at
each day's end. I could not have been happier. I am hard to please and
could not find anything to complain about. Give Ed a shot. He will not

"Well, Mr. Ferebee, was polite and knowledgeable of his work/profession.
He has his own tools and showed up at my house when he said he would
promptly and ready to work. He set up shop in my driveway with my
permission and briefed me on his work he would perform that day. I
must say he's a clean contractor. He remodeled our stairwell and
bottom two steps. We had a contractor grade drywall stairwell. Ed tore all of that out and replaced it with a custom fit railing. The final outcome adds a touch of elegance
to the foyer and stairs. My wife and I are very impressed with Mr.
Ferebee's work from start to finish. I would definitely use him for
future projects and recommend his work to friends and associates.
